MoxxieMade x Alma “Connect”
MoxxieMade x Alma present “Connect” - a space to connect on topics that matter and normalize challenges and experiences that we share but don’t often have an intentional space to discuss.

About the Event

As the saying goes, “New York - you can make it here. You can make it anywhere.” Similarly, in this concrete jungle, often the first question asked when strangers meet each other is“What do you do for a living?” There can be such a hunger to succeed, that oftentimes, our careers become a measure of our self-worth.

With our jobs as extensions of our identity, what happens when tough moments arise in our career? When we are learning by failing? And what if that job or “identity” get stripped away from us?

Or what do we do when we are struggling with our mental wellbeing? How do you navigate those conversations in our careers where emotion is meant to be cut off?

In this gathering of the MoxxieMade x Alma “Connect” series- alongside our powerful panel, we will get real on how sometimes our jobs impact our mental health and what we can do about it.

You will love this if you want -
• To get inspired and encouraged
• Meet new and like-minded women in the city
• Gain a little knowledge and hear some real talk on different women's journeys

Our Co-host Partner - Alma
Let’s admit it - finding a great therapist can often feel like dating, but a whole lot more expensive. This is one of the many reasons we love Alma and their mission. Alma is a co-practicing space and community of therapists and wellness professionals, on a mission to simplify access to high quality, affordable mental health care. Their mission is to improve the experience of therapy for everyone involved and to simplify access to care. They lower barriers to mental health help and healing by curating a community of top-quality mental health providers, ease of scheduling and billing, and all in beautifully designed locations. This intentional company truly wants to destigmatize mental health challenges, and we are so excited to partner with them.
